Job Summary

As a Senior AI Researcher at IKASI, you’ll be an integral part of our data science team. You will work alongside advanced AI pioneers to transform how individualized personalization and recommendations are done within large-scale Enterprises.

Role Overview

  • Research & Development:
    • Lead advanced research projects in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
    • Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, methodologies, and technologies and assess their applicability to our business needs.
    • Develop new algorithms and models, enhancing our capabilities in areas such as predictive analytics, Causal Inference and Recommendation systems.
  • Project Leadership:
    • Guide a team of AI researchers and data scientists, fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
    • Plan and oversee the execution of research projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Collaboration & Integration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and data science, to integrate AI solutions into our products and services.
    • Liaise with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for AI applications and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Publication & Dissemination:
    • Publish findings in top-tier journals and conferences.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums, showcasing our AI capabilities and achievements.
  • Mentorship & Training:
    • Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, guiding their professional development.
    • Lead internal workshops and training sessions on AI and machine learning techniques.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of research experience.
  • Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and AI algorithms.
  • Experience with recommendation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct machine learning research studies to analyze data and identify opportunities.
  • Strong programming skills, proficient in ML languages (Python, SQL, Java, and data science libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to various audiences.
  • Excellent Interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • M.S. in a STEM field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Contributions to research communities like Github.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior scientists or engineers.
  • Strong publication record in AI or related fields.
